A coastal hospital in WA in need of assistance from a Child and Adolscent Psychiatrist to work in their community setting.

Service Info:
This mental health service in this South West region provides a mix of inpatient and community‑based support for adults experiencing acute or ongoing mental health concerns. As part of a broader health campus, the service works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver recovery‑focused care, including assessment, crisis intervention, short‑term inpatient treatment, and coordinated follow‑up through community programs. Its focus on continuity of care ensures individuals and their families receive comprehensive support throughout their treatment journey.

• single weeknight per fortnight (Monday through Friday - included in daily rate) and
• possibly a 3 day weekend (Friday/Sat/Sun - close availability payment applicable for the Saturday and Sunday).
• All on-call is supported by a first-on-call Registrar.
• Weeknights generally comprise telephone support only.
• Weekend days often require a 1-3 hour attendance at the Bunbury hospital site, to review Adult new inpatient admissions.

Call-ins are paid at a rate 1/10^th of the weekday rate, up to a maximum of the weekday daily rate.
