Staff Specialist in Paediatrics - NSW

Global Medics are exclusively partnering with a large Local Health District in northern New South Wales to assist in filling a permanent Staff Specialist/Consultant in Paediatrics role.

Duties include:

• Providing contemporary comprehensive specialist General Paediatric services for optimal patient outcomes at the Network Hospitals including, Inpatient Services, Outpatient Clinics, Hospital in the Home and Consultancy where applicable for optimal patient outcomes delivering a healthy community through quality care .
  
• Providing clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

The hospital is a medium sized regional facility with emergency services. It provides diagnostic and health services that includes General Medical with Palliative Care, Women's Care Unit, Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit, Paediatric Unit, Renal Unit, Surgical Services, and Hospital in the Home where patients are admitted to hospital but treated in their homes.

- Remuneration: $278,355 to $376,068 per annum

Requirements:

• Fellowship of the relevant Royal Australian Medical College or equivalent
  * Specialist AHPRA registration or eligible to attain (Substantially Comparable)
