Dates:

• 13 April - 4 May
• 11 May - 6 June

The hospital is offering $1,500 p/d, with travel and accommodation provided.
The doctor MUST have full AHPRA registration.

About Griffith Base Hospital:

Griffith Base Hospital is a 119-bed regional referral hospital, including 10 dedicated maternity beds and a 24-hour emergency department with 15 beds.

It delivers significant volume and variety of clinical work each year, supporting approximately 19,500 emergency presentations, 2,500 operations, and 600 births annually.

The hospital offers a wide range of specialist services relevant to O&G and broader acute care, including:

• Emergency Medicine & Critical Care
• Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• General Medicine & Surgery
• Paediatrics
• Oncology & Renal Dialysis
• Hospital in the Home & Rehabilitation
• Diagnostic Imaging: CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, general X-ray, mammography, bone densitometry, interventional procedures
• Allied Health: physiotherapy, dietetics, social work, occupational therapy, pharmacy
• Maternity Services: antenatal, birthing and postnatal care with visiting obstetricians and a midwifery-run antenatal clinic

The site is also undergoing major redevelopment as part of a $250 million hospital upgrade, with new facilities opening through 2025-2026.
