Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology - NSW

Global Medics has partnered with a major public teaching hospital based in northern New South Wales to recruit a Consultant / Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This is a permanent position offering sponsorship and relocation assistance.

Duties include:

• Providing comprehensive Specialist Obstetrics & Gynaecology services at the primary facility and other facilities where applicable for optimal patient outcomes delivering a healthy community through quality care.
• Providing clinical leadership, participating in quality improvement activities and providing training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

The hospital is a major public teaching hospital and the primary referral and recognised trauma centre for the northern New South Wales region. It provides high‑level care across medical, surgical, emergency, critical care, oncology, cardiology, gynaecology, mental health, paediatrics, and more. It operates a busy Emergency Department.

Remuneration: $278,355 to $376,068 per annum full time equivalent depending on experience

Requirements:

• Fellowship of the relevant Royal Australian Medical College or equivalent
• Specialist AHPRA registration or eligible to attain (Substantially Comparable)
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the role delineation of the service.
