Staff Specialist Psychiatry - Adolescent Inpatient

Global Medics is partnering with a hospital in Sydney to recruit a Staff Specialist Psychiatrist - Adolescent Inpatient. The role is based 40 minutes north of Sydney, with great connections to the CBD and stunning Sydney beaches including Bondi and Manly beach.

The key responsibilities for the role:

• Provide a speciality service consistent within your defined scope of clinical practice.

• Participate in an on call roster determined by the Head of Department.

• Liaise with other health professionals involved in patient management and care.

Essential Selection Criteria:

• Coming from the UK -  Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), awarded under any RCPsych curriculum from August 2007 to date following satisfactory completion of a General Medical Council or Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board approved specialty training program in psychiatry in the United Kingdom.

• Other Countries - Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent

• Demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health problems in Adult Mental Health

• Demonstrated experience and ability to work effectively as part of multi-disciplinary team
