Global Medics is currently seeking a Locum Infectious Disease Specialist for a regional hospital in the Northern NSW Health District.

This hospital has an acute adult inpatient mental health unit as well as a state-of-the-art Operating Theatre Suite, Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, General Medical and Surgical Wards, Women's Care Unit, Paediatric Unit, Renal Unit, Emergency Department, Medical Imaging department and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.

Additional Role Info:

This is a Hospital in the Home role, with the specialist working from 0800-1700 Monday to Friday. The specialist will be required to attend Medical Handover each morning, in addition to ward rounds and clinics. Supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers is a requirement of the role.
