A regional mental health service in Central Queensland is seeking Psychiatry Registrars to support two distinct teams: Community Outreach and Forensic Mental Health. These locum roles offer a diverse caseload and the opportunity to work across both clinical and justice-related settings.

🧩 Service Overview:

• Community Outreach Role: Deliver psychiatric care to individuals in rural and remote areas through outreach clinics and telehealth. The team provides assessment, treatment planning, and coordination with local services across the region.

• Forensic Role: Work within a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals involved with the justice system. Responsibilities include risk assessments, court reports, and liaison with correctional facilities and legal stakeholders.

Both services are part of a broader network offering adult, youth, and Indigenous mental health support, with a strong emphasis on recovery and culturally responsive care.
