A regional mental health service in Central Queensland is seeking a Psychiatry Registrar to support a blended role across its Community Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Service. This locum offers a diverse caseload and the opportunity to work across acute and outreach settings.

🧩 Service Overview: The inpatient unit provides acute psychiatric care for adults experiencing severe mental health episodes, while the community AOD team delivers evidence-based interventions including cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, and medication-assisted treatment. The service also supports detoxification, rehabilitation referrals, and harm minimisation strategies.
