A metro hospital in TAS is in need of assistance from a Psychiatry CMO for their Sub Acute service

State-wide Mental Health Services is a leader and innovator for a unique corner of the health care industry. Providing a comprehensive suite of services across the areas of mental health, alcohol and drugs, forensic mental health, and correctional primary health.

You would be providing psychiatric services to the Acute Care Team (ACT) and Mental Health Hospital in the Home (MHHITH) which are co-located. You will be required to provide clinical support to both services and see clients in their homes. The Acute Care Team has been established as part of the ongoing Tasmanian Mental Health Reform Program that provides timely access to centralised and standardised mental health triage, assessment, and treatment for consumers of ED, the Mental Health Short Stay Unit, the Mental Health Inpatient Unit, RHH Consultant Liaison Psychiatry and Mental Health Hospital in the Home.

$150-$187.50 PH

Hours:
Full-time shift work working Sunday to Saturday 08:30am to 20:30pm.
