Respiratory Physician

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Physician to join the Northland Respiratory service.

This role includes acute inpatient respiratory consultations and procedures, as well as elective respiratory services such as outpatient clinics and bronchoscopy (including both flexible bronchoscopy and linear EBUS). While respiratory medicine will be the primary focus, there may also be opportunities to participate in general medicine ward rounds, if that is an area of interest. You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team consisting of Senior Medical Officers (SMOs), a Nurse Practitioner, and Clinical Nurse Specialists, with additional support from the General Medicine team across the acute wards.

Essential requirements:

• Vocational registration with Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) or eligibility to apply
• FRACP or equivalent and be able to register for specialist registration with the MCNZ
• Must be legally able to work in New Zealand
