Locum General Physician

• Dates: Immediate start - 13 September 2026
• Rate: $1500.00 per day
• Location: Whakatāne, New Zealand

We are seeking experienced General Physicians for a short-term locum opportunity in Whakatāne. This role will primarily involve ward-based duties, with overnight and/or weekend on-call responsibilities as required. Travel and accommodation will be covered by the service.

Essential:

• Vocational registration with Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) or eligibility to apply
• FRACP or equivalent and be able to register for specialist registration with the MCNZ
