A well-established rural health centre in Wairoa is seeking Locum General Practitioner support to assist with increasing patient demand. This is a welcoming practice serving a population of approximately 8,300 patients, offering an excellent opportunity for GPs looking for meaningful rural experience in a supportive environment.

About the Practice:

This rural general practice has a strong community focus and supports a patient population of approximately 8,300. The role offers 8-10 sessions per week with 20‑minute appointments, using the Medtech PMS, and is supported by a friendly, well‑organised clinical and administrative team. Blocks of one week or longer are preferred, although all availability will be considered. The position comes with flexible locum arrangements, and full provision of travel, accommodation and a rental car, making it an excellent opportunity to experience rewarding rural medicine with strong professional support.

Remuneration:

• Sessional rate: $700
