Locum Consultant Psychiatrist - Child & Youth

A metro Queensland hospital is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to provide ongoing support across their Child and Youth inpatient and community mental health teams.

This is a full‑time consultant role which may include working on the Child & Youth inpatient unit, the community CYMHS team, or a combination of both depending on service needs.

The community CYMHS team includes staff specialist psychiatrists, registrars, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and mental health clinicians. You may be asked to assess newly referred young people or review consumers who are care‑coordinated by clinicians within the service.

Rates

$2,650 per day
