Service Info

This is a full‑time Consultant Psychiatrist role within the Mental Health Hospital in the Home (MHHITH) service, providing acute mental health care in a community‑based, home‑treatment model. The service delivers hospital‑level psychiatric support to adults experiencing acute mental illness while allowing them to remain in their home environment.

Locums could be required to work in any one of or a combination of any Adult Mental Health Service facilities. This includes all community teams within the greater Hobart area as well as inpatient services within the Royal Hobart Hospital and its associated facilities.
