Emergency SMO

Global Medics is seeking an experienced SMO with FACRRM/FRACGP and ED experience for a contract at Babinda Hospital, an MM5 rural facility in Far North Queensland.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to support a small but busy rural ED, manage a broad mix of presentations, and work within a tight‑knit community known for its rainforest surrounds and relaxed regional lifestyle.

Position Details

• Role: SMO - FACRRM/FRACGP with ED experience
• Location: Babinda Hospital,QLD
• Commencement: ASAP through to July
• Shifts: Mix of ED and inpatient coverage (typical rural generalist scope)
• Rate: $200-$240 per hour (depending on shift type and acuity)
• Travel & Accommodation: Provided

Eligibility Requirements

• Full working rights in Australia
• Current AHPRA registration
• Relevant ED experience at Registrar level
