Consultant Anaesthetist - Victoria

Global Medics has partnered with a major specialist referral hospital based in Victoria (approximately 150 km east of Melbourne) to recruit a Consultant / Staff Specialist in Anaesthetics. This is a permanent position offering sponsorship and relocation assistance.

The hospital offers a range of elective and emergency anaesthetics services and is looking for a candidate with extensive knowledge and clinical ability. The position will involve pre- and post-operative care for a full range of patients, including paediatric, adult and obstetric patients.

Candidates should have proven ability to work autonomously and be part of a collaborative team environment. The department is committed to providing comprehensive range of surgical procedures and ensuring high-quality anaesthetics care.

Remuneration: up to $436,733 per annum (basic) - full time equivalent depending on experience

Requirements:

• Fellowship of the relevant Royal Australian Medical College or equivalent
• Specialist AHPRA registration or eligible to attain (Substantially Comparable)
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Anaesthetics at the role delineation of the service.
