Registrar in Orthopaedic Surgery - NSW

Global Medics is recruiting for a Registrar in Orthopaedics position based at a major regional referral hospital located in the northern region of New South Wales.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role offering excellent clinical exposure and career development.

The hospital is a level 3/4 facility providing a broad range of medical, surgical, and supportive health services to the Clarence Valley community.

You will be involved in the care and management of orthopaedic inpatients as well as attend orthopaedic outpatient clinics.

The hospital offers:

-Broad hands-on surgical experience due to diverse presentations

-Close supervision and teaching from consultant surgeons

-Strong collaboration with ED, radiology, allied health, and rehabilitation units

-Access to comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, enhancing continuity of orthopaedic care from acute management to recovery

Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration through the Competent Authority Pathway.
