Emergency Registrar

Global Medics is seeking an experienced Emergency Registrar to support the Emergency Department at Northeast Health Wangaratta across March and April. This is a strong regional ED with excellent consultant coverage, a supportive multidisciplinary team, and a steady flow of diverse presentations. The roster includes a mix of days, evenings, and nights, with premium rates for in‑charge and overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a broad range of ED presentations across all acuity levels
• Providing leadership and supervision when rostered as in‑charge
• Working collaboratively with consultants, nursing staff, and allied health
• Maintaining high standards of patient care in a fast-paced environment

What's On Offer

• $170/hr - standard ED registrar shifts
• $190/hr - in‑charge shifts
• $250/hr - in‑charge night shifts
• Mixed roster across March-April
• Ongoing support from your Global Medics consultant

Eligibility Requirements

• Full working rights in Australia
• Current AHPRA registration
• Relevant ED experience at Registrar level
