Emergency Senior Medical Officer

Global Medics is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Officer (SMO) for a contract within the Emergency Department at Port Augusta Hospital, located in the heart of South Australia's iconic outback region.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop acute care capability, manage a broad mix of presentations, and contribute to a supportive regional ED team - all while enjoying the unique lifestyle and community spirit that Port Augusta is known for.

Position Details

• Role: Senior Medical Officer - Emergency Department
• Commencement: March start until April
• Rate:
• $230 per hour (weekday)
• $250 per hour (weekend & public holiday)
• Travel & Accommodation: Provided

Eligibility Requirements

• Full working rights in Australia
• Current AHPRA registration
• Relevant ED experience at Registrar level
