General Practitioner Telehealth

The position:

Our client has rare and exciting General Practitioner Telehealth opportunities in their all symptoms extended afterhours service. You will work entirely from the comfort of your own home to diagnose and prescribe medications to manage patient illness.

Details:

• $155 per hour + penalty rates
• Medicare Provider Number is not required for this role
• Operational hours are NSW time zone, Friday and Sunday 8am - 8am (24/7), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 6pm - 8am
• Pick the hours and days that you work to meet your personal commitments
• Nurses complete a Triage with the patient prior to their GP Telehealth appointment
• Complete 4-5 patient calls per hour depending upon complexity
• Diagnose and prescribe through Telehealth calls, videos and E-Script

Eligibility Criteria:

• Specialist General Practice registration with AHPRA
• General registration with AHPRA and in a General Practitioner training programme including but not limited to PEP, AGPT
• Must have a minimum of 3 years General Practice experience
• Must have your own laptop with a camera and internet access
