Position: Emergency Medicine Consultant

Contract: Permanent Full-Time

Salary: 320 - 420K

Location: Perth - Western Australia

The Position:

Consultants will promote patient quality and safe care and provide leadership, training, supervision, mentorship, and education to doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake clinical shifts as directed, which will include participation on the on-call/after-hours/weekend roster.

The successful candidate will have:

• Fellowship of the Australian College of Emergency Medicine.
• Eligibility for full registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Emergency Medicine.
• Evidence of career long education and professional development
• Demonstrated experience in teaching at registrar or fellowship level.
