Clinical Director - Mental Health and Addiction Services
Te Whatu Ora - Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty, formerly known as the Bay of Plenty District Health Board, and Global Medics are collaborating on the hunt for a new clinical director for mental health and addiction services.
Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty serves a population of approximately 308,000, spanning across a vast geographical area and centred around two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatane. Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the largest employers in the Bay of Plenty with over 4000 staff.
The region is in need of an experienced Psychiatrist to join the Mental Health and Addiction Services as the Clinical Director. In this role, you will provide clinic leadership to the entire service covering Tauranga and Whakatane areas. The service consists of a 24-bed mental health inpatient unit in Tauranga, and a 10-bed inpatient unit in Whakatane, Community Mental Health Services in both areas, as well as Consultation Liaison Services, Maternal Mental Health, Addictions and OST Services in both areas.
Essential Requirements:
- You must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or eligible for registration.
- If you are an overseas applicant, you must be eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
