Emergency Medicine Registrar

Global Medics is arranging interviews for an Emergency Medicine Registrar to join the team at a major provider of health service in Queensland. You will be working as part of a highly experienced, professional, and enthusiastic team of Specialists, JMO's and nursing staff providing emergency care.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide appropriate medical care to patients and assist more senior doctors in complex cases.
• Build and expand personal skill levels to ensure that clients receive the best possible service reflecting up to date evidence based professional practice.
• Be aware of and work in accordance with organisational policies and procedures including occupational health and safety and relevant legislative requirements.
• Demonstrate positive workplace behaviours and relationships at all times.

Services currently available include intensive care, coronary care, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedic surgery, general surgery, vascular surgery, 24-hour emergency medicine, pharmacy, medical imaging, pathology and comprehensive mental health services. Allied Health services include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech therapy, psychology and social work.

About you:

• Primary Medical Degree (MBBS)
• AHPRA Registration or eligibility for AHPRA via the Competent Authority Pathway
• Previous clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Orthopaedics and/or General Practice
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary treatment team
