About the role:

Work in a supportive multidisciplinary team to develop public health strategic plans and policies to improve public health and safety in the Nelson Marlborough region. Assess threats/risk factors of epidemic diseases to public health to pre-empt and control the outbreaks of these illness. Bring your expert public health knowledge to provide public health advice and operational support to improve the population health and primary health care in the region.

Essential:

• FNZCPHM or equivalent
• Must hold or be eligible for vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
