Position: General Practitioner - After hours Clinic

Location: Brisbane

Contract: Temporary

Billing Rates: 60% of billings

The Position:

Our client is seeking General Practitioners committed to providing patients with medical services in their after-hours clinic located in the Brisbane area. The doctor will do prescribing in the role to try and reduce the need to go to the hospital during the night so that they can see their GP the following day.

The Centre:

• Private billings
• 60% of billings - $150 per hour temporarily minimum guaranteed pay.
• Support is available: a receptionist and nursing staff will always be on the phone with the doctor, and medical directors are available via phone.
• Operational hours: Monday-Friday 6pm-Midnight. Saturday 1pm-6pm or 6pm-Midnight and Sunday/Public Holidays 10am-5pm - 5pm-Midnight
• Best Practice
• The doctor will approximately see 7-15 patients per shift.

Located 45 minutes from Brisbane and 10 minutes from Ipswich, the area is loved by families and offers many different activities for children. The region is also known for its many beautiful parks.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Specialist General Practice registration with AHPRA
• General registration with AHPRA in a current GP training programme
