Consultant Psychiatrist - General Adult

I am seeking experienced Consultant Psychiatrists specialising in community general adult psychiatry for either full or part time positions in the Canterbury Region. Ideally, we are looking for applicants who want to come permanently, however, if you are wanting to come for a shorter term to experience working and living in New Zealand, I would love to hear from you also.

Location:

Located in the picturesque South Island, Christchurch is a city known for its creativity, heritage, and unique landscapes. For nature experiences, take a trip to seaside Akaroa to visit the Pōhatu Penguins, or cruise with NZ's rare Hector's dolphin. If you're looking to head inland, the TranzAlpine Train allows you to travel coast to coast, with gorgeous views of the Southern Alps. Christchurch City Centre also has plenty on offer, the Riverside Markets are always a popular pick, along with trendy art galleries and cafes galore.

Essential requirements:

• You must have or be eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand in a vocational and/or locum tenens Psychiatry scope of practice, with no restrictions to your APC.
• Must be legally able to work in New Zealand
