We are seeking an experienced General Physician (+/- a subspeciality) for full-time or part-time permanent work within the Department of Medicine in Nelson, New Zealand.

About the job:

Permanent position, 0.8FTE (64 hours a fortnight) to 1.0FTE (80 hours a fortnight)

• 1:8+ on-call and call-back allowance
• Onsite support by:
• 24hr General Medicine Registrar support
• SMO led Emergency Department
• Acute Cardiology team including interventional service
• 24/7 virtual telestroke
• Full subspecialty support from within Nelson or aligned Tertiary partners

Essential Requirements:

• You must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or eligible for registration.
