Consultant Psychiatrist - Infant, Child, & Adolescent

• Permanent part-time 0.8FTE (64 hours a fortnight)
• Community based service, located in Blenheim, New Zealand
• No out of hours on-call commitments

I am seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in Infant, Child, & Adolescent Mental Health (iCAMHS) for permanent part-time work, based in Blenheim.

About the job:

You would be joining a multidisciplinary team, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for young patients with serious mental health conditions in the Marlborough community. The service is seeking a clinician with strong clinical competencies, with excellent communication and decision-making skills.

The successful applicant will bring previous experience and knowledge in Child & Adolescent services, that will contribute to advanced care of youth in the community.

Essential requirements:

• You must have or be eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand in a vocational and/ or locum tenens Psychiatry scope of practice, with no restrictions to your APC.
• Ideally you will have obtained FRANZCP or near completion.
• Must be legally able to work in New Zealand
