Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is looking to expand their team and are recruiting two SMO's to help enhance the Renal services across the Bay of Plenty.

About the role:
As an SMO in the Renal services team, you will have a mixture of responsibilities that encompass both acute General Medicine inpatient care and specialised Nephrology services.

• Acute General Medical Inpatient Teams: You will be covering two acute general medical inpatient teams, maintaining a balanced workload with a 1:3 ratio. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality care to patients in need.
  
• Nephrology Service Delivery: In addition to acute care, you'll have dedicated non-acute time to focus on subspecialty Nephrology service delivery.
  
• Collaboration: You will collaborate across two of our key locations, Tauranga and Whakatāne, and will also be a crucial link with the wider renal services network in the MidCentral region. Your role will play a pivotal part in building stronger connections and sharing best practices.

Requirements:

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent qualification.
• Current or eligibility for vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.\
