Consultant Psychiatrist - Child and Adolescent

Global Medics, in conjunction with Auckland's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to support the needs of Auckland's younger population and their whanau.

This position offers a rare opportunity for an experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to work in a well renowned, specialist mental health service. The Kari Centre is a Child and Adolescent Mental Health outpatient service, that has a sturdy reputation for excellence, innovation, and training. The service supports the mental health needs of young people and their whanau within the central Auckland area.

The multi-disciplinary teams at the core of the service are made up of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, psychotherapists, nurses, and cultural advisors.

The service are understanding of the importance of a good work - life balance, and as such are willing to fill this position on a part time, or full time basis.

Essential Requirements:

- You must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or eligible for registration.

- If you are an overseas applicant, you must be eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
