Consultant Psychiatrist
Global Medics in collaboration with Hawkes Bay Hospital are seeking a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist.
The Hawkes Bay Mental Health and Addiction Service are in need of a consultant psychiatrist to join the team and support the regions general adult population. This service operates two large community teams, one being a kaupapa Māori Mental Health Service provided with an NGO partner, and satellite teams in the smaller population centres. Within the service are Child and Family, Home Based Treatment, Maternal Mental Health, Consultation-Liaison and Emergency Mental Health teams.
This full-time permanent position will consist of varied and challenging work, as well as the opportunity to teach and train registrars. The service has also seen the completion of a new $22m purpose built impatient building recently. Essential Requirements:
- You must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or eligible for registration.
- If you are an overseas applicant, you must be eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
