Consultant Psychiatrist - General Adult
Global Medics and Auckland's Mental Health and Addictions Service are on the lookout for a General Adult Psychiatrist to help support the region's adult population.
Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai (formerly Auckland District Health Board) are in need of a General Adult Psychiatrist to join their community based mental health service. The region has four community mental health centres (CMHCs): Manaaki House (Panmure), Cornwall House (Greenlane), Taylor Centre (Ponsonby) and Kainga Tiaki (Mt Eden).
The community mental health teams offer a full range of therapeutic treatment options in collaboration with patients, their families, and local communities.
The successful candidate will have many opportunities to thrive and develop in this role, they will receive on-going support and mentoring from highly experienced clinicians as well as the opportunity to specialise.
Essential Requirements:
- You must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or eligible for registration.
- If you are an overseas applicant, you must be eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
