General Adult Psychiatrist

Global Medics in conjunction with Te Whatu Ora Canterbury, are seeking a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist, to make the move to the 'Garden City.'

As the demand for mental health and addiction services continues to grow, the team is expanding and in need of a Consultant Psychiatrist to support the psychiatric needs of the adult population in Canterbury.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must be flexible, possess a collaborative approach to work, and be able to work within an integrated care model within a multidisciplinary team.

The role will involve both outpatient and inpatient work, offering a fulfilling and diverse work experience.

Te Whatu Ora Canterbury is dedicated to providing healthcare services to a population of approximately 600,000 people, with a strong focus on putting people at the center of everything they do, including you.

Essential Requirements:

- You must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or eligible for registration.

- If you are an overseas applicant, you must be eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
