General Practitioner OSI Prescriber

Position: General Practitioner
Location: Melbourne
Contract: Part time or full time
Billing Rates: 75% of billings

The Position:
Our client, based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne is seeking a General Practitioner to work in their Opioid Treatment Program. You will support patients in their recovery journey and you will prescribe medication to assist in the treatment of an opioid addiction.

The Centre:

• Mixed billings
• 75% of billings
• Offer Pharmacotherapy for treatment of opioid dependencies
• Prescribe Methadone, Buprenorphine and Suboxone where required
• Pharmacotherapy training provided if required
• Flexible opportunity, pick your hours and days that you wish to work, part time or full time
• Supported by a nurse, who will work with you to create treatment plans for the patients

Eligibility Criteria:

• Specialist General Practice registration with AHPRA
• To be or willing to be an accredited Pharmacotherapy Prescriber
