Locum Geriatrician

Lismore Base Hospital are looking for a Geriatrician to assist with cover: 8 - 26 May (neg)

Shift times are Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700hours

The Specialist will participate in a shared 1:4 on call roster (weekdays and weekends - 0800hours to 0800hours for each rostered on call)

The Specialist will be supported by a Junior team

Standard daily rate is $2500/day with accommodation, hire car and travel provided.

The Specialist will be required to work with the team Monday to Friday each week and provide an On-Call Service as rostered for the duration of the contract, attend any clinics and emergencies as required and provide daily ward rounds. Supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers is also a requirement.
Lismore Base Hospital is a regional referral Level 5 base hospital with state-of-the-art operating theatre suite, ICU/CCU, imaging, Cardiac Cath Lab and most major specialties and subspecialties. The Lismore Base Hospital Emergency Department is a comprehensive level 5 Emergency Department and is the designated Trauma Centre for Northern NSW with on-site roof top helipad as part of our Retrieval Service.
